Purchasing, Storing and Serving

Look for squash that’s average in size with a shiny, smooth rind.

Much like zucchini, squash is very fragile and should be handled carefully. Keep squash refrigerated in the container that it was purchased in for five to seven days.

When ready to prepare, wash squash under cool water, cut off both ends, and slice to your desired shape and size.
